About me
Hi, my name is Kona, and one thing I love about myself is I like to have fun and a laugh, I'm easy going and love pushing boundaries in photography, why take everyday photos when you can capture the raw, unscripted moments, where you are just being you, and yes while I do pose you, for those photos I will capture you in between those shots because thats where the magic happens, and those photos will become your favourites. My goal has always been to create memories that evoke emotions and capture the fun side of life, why have boring photos when you can capture who you really are, I love celebrating people and on the day I'll be your biggest cheerleader. No idea is impossible; Creativity is my passion so let me bring yours to life.
My journey
My love of photography started in my teenage years while I was studying art, I was looking at painting and being a creative artist, and at one stage during the course we had to photograph a person then bring that photo to life using paint, and while I have always appreciated different artists, and mediums I found myself experimenting with different ideas with a camera and finding out that being creative in front or behind the lens gave me the most joy, so painting became a mindful artform and photography won over.
I am located in Geelong but grew up in Bendigo, so I travel regularly between the two cities, so there's no travel fees for Geelong or Bendigo surrounds.
My goal is to have you leave your session feeling confident and relaxed and excited to see what we captured together. I will always get those unscripted and raw emotions coming through your photos. I look forward to working with you on making your ideas a reality. I love creative visions, so let my passion become yours for a day.
